Our club realises that we can play an important part in building community, through providing both a sporting and social venue for people. We encourage new people coming to our area and there are flow on effects in terms of patronage for our town, job offers for locals, sometimes employment of players in our area and occasionally people resettling in our town. Our club plays a vital part in our local economy and we take steps to promote this. We also support the re-engagement of families within in our community to join the MFNC.
Sport plays an important role and a meeting place for our community and a safe family atmosphere, which has been enjoyed for many years. Without support from our players, volunteers, our valued sponsors and supporters our club would cease to exist. We are proud to support local health and wellbeing initiatives that support all members of our community.
